These are problems the Southside fans will not have to worry about this weekend. I swear the last I looked that the Blanco Sox were perilously close to having the worst record in all of baseball. Somehow, a two game winning streak against the Royals (tee hee) has moved them out of the MLB basement. Ozzie really did deserve that extension. They are the very definition of awful when it comes to Chicago sports (I'm being polite about the BHawks because Wirtz is being interred today). And I'm not even a Cubs fan. BTW, the Red Eye cover today was extra clever...even if you are a Cub fan.

And of all the people I'd like to shut up permanently, that monotone MFer Ed Farmer is just slightly behind Ron Santo....IMO, of course.
