Steve:

I hope you teach your staff:

A. How to pour a cocktail (in particular a martini) into a glass that is cold (ice it down, baby);

B. That a salad should not be put onto a plate that has just come out of the dishwasher.

Tell them to follow these simple rules and I will be singing your praises up and down Pennsylvania Avenue.

Hey Johnsville...welcome to the board. I just wanted to say that some of the best servers I have encountered at a restaurant were over 50. Been at it longer, more patient, and a tad bit nurturing...Good luck to you!

Either way, Hello again and Thanks!

Please drop by and fill out an application. We're hiring a diverse group of part-time and full-time employees. The fact that you have some restaurant experience is a real plus.

Cheers!

Can't wait for a real pub in town.

Your staff is key. Go for cheerful, attractive people, especially those serving drinks. Big Grin

Jimbo, he is one of the people on this board that knows who I am, where I live, where I work.....also knows that I am a slow, white, can't jump, no left hand (did I forget to mention OLD) hoops player. There you go Fan, you should be able to figure out who I am now with all that info.

In that case, a year's supply of Silver Oak will do fine. Keep in mind I start popping the cork around Noon every day.

You play ball with him, don't you?

That case was accidentally delivered to Morning Dew's house last week.

I have my doubts about the new place. I think they are keeping the couches in the front room and their bar is big enough for about 6 stools. They are putting TV's all over the place like a sports bar, but it seems more like a restaurant. It kind of reminds my of what the last owner of the brewery tried to do. It didn't make sense.

It's too bad the first two sections were not made into one larger sports bar area and the back area maybe left as a restaurant.

I hope I am dead wrong about this place, but I have a bad feeling about it as a neighborhood sports bar or pub.

I hope you're dead wrong too, Jimbo.

The place looks great and we're just wrapping up a 6-day training program with our staff.

We're all very excited for our opening on Wednesday!

Cheers!
