Hello all. I'm job hunting for my first part-time job! I'd really appreciate it if anyone could post any places they know of that are hiring for the summer. I've been hunting through downtown but that's not going so well.
If you're an employer... I've helped a warehouse in Addison with graphics design for their website, stationary, and business cards. I also filed paperwork and carried out basic secretarial duties as well as basic stock and line work.
I'm really just looking for any kind of job and any kind of hours. Car insurance and the price of gas is not making my newly sixteen year old life easy. ):
My daughter is also looking for a job. The only help wanted add we could find in GE was a receptionist at Linea salon. You could try there.
My 15 year old daughter would also be interested in picking up more babysitting jobs. She is a responsible honors student at West. So if you are looking for a sitter let me know and I will have her contact you for an interview.

Linea is a wonderful place and will give you good experience. You will meet a lot of really great people and get some excellent experience in dealing with people, which is most important before you hit the world work force for real.
