GBW’S Performance in the Round took first and is said to be good enough to win State.

I had the pleasure of working concessions for the meet today. I have never met a nicer group of Young Adults. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the kids. They were polite, articulate and in many cases quite funny. I honestly think that every kid said please and thank you. I told MRS. Perplexed I will definitely volunteer next year.

IHSA State is this weekend at Nequa Valley HS (South Napervilles). If you wish to see some of the best talent the State of Illinois has to offer, come on down. If you wonder if you'd like your child to compete in Forensics, you will be sold on Saturday.

It is, of course, illegal to bet. I'm not a gambling man, just a humble thief...

..but if one were to select their trifecta box, Glenbard West, W W S and D G S should win, place or show.

D G S is always strong, and the 4-time repeat champions. They are never to be discounted. My impartial money is on W W S.

Glenbard West Forensics State Final Results

Glenbard West got 3 events to finals at the state competition:

7th in Dramatic Duet Acting: Kristin Perkins and Luke Stewart performed A Very Clean Place

7th in Dramatic Interpretation: Phoebe Duvall performed The Waltz

Glenbard West took 5th place with their Performance in the Round of Fools
