The GBS booklist has been posted since mid-July. You might try and find out if all the Glenbards use the same books. From my experience, amazon.com has the best prices by far.
There is a list posted on the web site- but I am pretty sure that it has not been updated for this year. I will check out Souths page and see if the books are the same as West.

Do you have a link? The West site says it is the 2006/2007.
And even though Amazon has better prices, it is still astonishing what we pay and certainly not in line with other districts that I am aware of.

I talked with a lady in the book store at GW yesterday and she indicated that all the textbook information was e-mailed to the GW web master a while ago, but for whatever reason it has not yet been posted on-line.
The book store is getting a little frustrated having to look up book entries for individual parents that keep calling in for information that could very easily be gathered from the web site.

There's no date and it looks like the one from 2006-2097 - in theory how much COULD be changed, but still... And if it is the current one why can't they make it accessible to the people that have to BUY the books. UGH.

Looks like the West site still has the old list- I checked out the East list it is easier to read than the West list so hopefully the new list will be in that format.

Well the list is up. The way it looks to me is that the for the math class my daughter will be in the book she will use will depend on the teacher she has. 2 teachers are using a book you purchase and however many others are using the state loan book.

You must be working at the book sale because the date for freshman books is Tuesday the 14th. I hope that I will get out with that kind of deal! Perhaps next year I will try to work the booksale in order to buy books early.

I ordered two of my daughter's books online. They are used but Follett's does a "10 point inspection" to ensure that the book is in good general condition, has no missing pages and is not excessively highlighted or marked in. If I don't like them, I can send them back. I hope they arrive before registration Tuesday! I bought the two, including shipping for about the same price as one of them new. Hopefully that will help.

Sorry - missed your response. I ordered from Follett's.

I picked up the books I was able to purchase from a friend today. I am just going to get the rest at West. If bringing them back and forth becomes a problem I will look for a really cheap 2nd copy on line.
