My son recently had to sell the baseball discount cards, and his friend is now selling the coupon books for the track team. My husband informed us that when he went to Glenbard West was on the track team 1974-75, they had to sell combs. I laughed so hard. They even had a family pack.

M & M'S were popular in the 80's
yeah, I remember the cheese and sausage-kinda like Figis or Swiss colony, to name a few.

I don't recall having to sell anything in the 70's.

Little way....I totally sold those too, except when I sold them they were readily available in stores. We had to get really creative with our marketing techniques, lol.

Let's see....like Lupe, I was involved in a lot of clubs/sports....

Fannie May candies, housewares (yes, housewares), useless Christmas crap, cheese and sausages, myriad of different generic candies, Mint Meltaways, various Hershey's candies (for some reason the sports teams always sold TONS of these), World's Finest chocolate bars, Girl Scout cookies (when they were still AWESOME), and my all-time favorite: flower bulbs for band, lmao....

I'm sure there were more, but that's all I can remember. I'm at the point where what I used to sell is merging in my brain with what my kids are now selling.

In the 1980's at Glenbard West (Topperettes), I sold plastic tumblers that said Glenbard West on them.

I wonder if grade schools still make students sell gold C books? Those were a hassle.
