The Daily Herald today continues its recommendations for the April 17 election.
Glenbard District 87 board
Glenbard High School District 87 has been well-served by Carol Stream resident Rose Malcolm. Malcolm is an open-minded and accountable public servant who deserves another four years on the board. She is the only incumbent in the race for three seats. Lombard residents Thomas Trefilek and Steven Sebby each bring their own strengths. Trefilek, who has children in the schools and a graduate degree in education, understands the issues. Sebby has a wealth of experience with eight years on the Lombard village board. Lombard resident Tom Stachelski might benefit from an experience on a committee before earning a spot on the school board. Glen Ellyn resident Ljubomir Spasovski did not respond to questions or phone calls, so we cannot consider his candidacy. We endorse Malcolm, Trefilek and Sebby.
Well....I was surprised, wrong and couldn't be happier about it. After a week of out of town, hellacious travel, I got home theis afternoon and Mrs. ear_ringer left the DH open to the editorial page and the Herlad's "NO" recommendation for D41 ref.
