I was just wondering if the parent run support organizations, such as Boosters and the like, plan to make donations to the Memorial Field Turf Fund.
As a completely separate fund exists for donations that are specifically targeted for artificial turf, I would hope monies are not funneled through these other organizations.
the boosters have voted that turf ON MEMORIAL is their major contribution to the school this year, i believe. last year the GW boosters funded the new language lab. boosters' donations are a balanced mix of academic and athletic contributions. IMHO.
