My daughter said a friend told her that West would be closed because of the flooding of the field and road being closed to bus traffic. I told her not to get her hopes up because they could have the bus drop off/pick up somewhere else. Has anyone else heard this?

Don't believe anything until/unless you get the phone call from West...I haven't heard this, personally.

Edited at 5:30 to add - just drove by West; the field still has water on it (mainly in the end zones), and the lake is certainly high & spilling over, but the parking lot and the drive where the buses go were dry. I can't imagine why they wouldn't have school tomorrow.

District enews said that classes will be held except at North. Having spent most of the day in that area I can see why. Streets are still flooded in a few sections.
