Thanks Middle. It felt good to get that off my chest. Never have been impressed with Hadley or West. I wish we had stuck to our guns and gone private. Our son got a much better private school education than our daughter did in the public school system. No comparison! Schools need to be smaller, not bigger. Tenure has to go for good. Excellent teachers should be well paid and poor teacher need to be fired!!!!

Folks can certainly differ, but my 3 have received exceptional educations at West. (That referendum mess and 6-class semester was inexcusable tho.) Based on my experience, if a kid gets a bad education at West, to get an explanation they may need to look in a mirror.
