Due to "graffiti" in bathroom with picture drawn of weapon with the word "kill" and the date of September 30, 2010.
Where is the great security staff that took the place of para-pros who checked bathrooms on a regular basis. How does someone have that much time to do the artwork without someone else seeing them.
Very unsettling as a parent...kept mine home today.
Someone probably did it inside of a stall door. Honestly (though I know you can't take chances with this kind of thing), it's probably just some kid crying out for attention or help.
When I was in school, a kid blew up a toilet in the upstairs bathroom....yes, actually blew it up....and we got evacuated for about 2 hours. Then we were let back into school to finish out our day. Compared to that kind of thing, a drawing on a wall seems minor.

coworker with a child at a HS in Hoffman Estates said a similar 9/30 graffiti was left on a bathroom mirror. Apparently, they do have cameras in their restrooms.
Good for you my2¢ ! You can't be too careful with your children's safety. After Columbine, albeit it was several years ago, it is always better to error on the side of caution.,
