I recall the board promised us a swimming pool for the swim team at west several years ago. When will they delivery on that? My son is a swimmer and is being slighted by this district.
When the original Biester Gym was built in the late 50's / early 60's, it was to have a pool in what became the wrestling arena. They ran out of money, but nonetheless installed the footings, etc. that would be necessary when the pool was added “later.“
Never happened, of course. Looks like history repeated itself.
Either that, or they haven't yet figured out how to make toxic artificial water.
