I thought it would be a nice idea to share drink ideas for those of us who are entertaining during the holiday season. I looking for some ideas for the Yossarian Christmas party and I want to stay with a red & green theme. I already have one idea for a Creme De Methe drink that tastes like Frango mints. It's the red drink I'm struggling with.
And remember what Yossarian says-Drinking and driving never mix. If your going to drink, drink responsibly. Let's be an example to the kids of GE.
Spicy Cranberry Elf Punch 1/2 cup red cinnamon candies 4 C. water 8 C. cranberry juice cocktail, chilled 6 oz. can frozen limeade concentrate 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate In small pan, melt candies in water; chill. At serving time, combine candy liquid and fruit juices in punch bowl. Stir to dissolve. Makes 18, 5-oz. cups. + a fifth or two of your favorite booze

Like you've never down a red drink before, Mister Sister.
I did Cosmos last year, I'm trying to be original. They did go like crazy, I was bartending nearly the entire party-not fun. Thought about hiring a bartender, but Mrs. Yoss put a stop to that. She' such a cheapie.
Jen-I've got more hair on my chest than that elf-man. And while I may drink sissy drinks, Yossy don't play that elf stuff.
Are we invited to this soiree? If so, I will bring the Cain Five (see here) and it is all the red you will need. Period. Of course an invite means that Clam will not be receiving his Christmas bonus for being poster boy of the year. The Fish house is running up a Republican-like deficit this year.
I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.
Actually, I only requested the Cain Cuvee...but if you'd like to send the Cain Five, I won't argue. I thought you were in a fiscal crisis at the Fish estate. Apparently not.
These were quite a hit at our Christmas party last year. I didn't add the pom seeds though. I thought they would get in the way of downing the drink! Cheers!

Great Website, Mrs. Arten. You made my Christmas cocktail search very easy. And thanks, Yoss, for the red and green drink idea! I wanted something different than the standard egg nog and wassail bowl.
