I must be in a thanksgiving cook mood! Pays to grow up belonging to an old-fashioned German-Lutheran church! Church cook-books are the best!
Okay! CORN CASSEROLE 1 can whole kernel white corn (shoepeg) Drain 1 can french cut green beans, Drain 1 small jar pimento ¼ tsp pepper 1 can cream of celery soup OR ½ c sour cream and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1¼ C. crushed Ritz® Crackers 1 stick melted butter 1 C. slivered almonds ______________________________________ Mix together 1 can whole kernel white corn (shoepeg) Drain 1 can french cut green beans, Drain 1 sm jar pimento ¼ tsp pepper 1 can cream of celery soup OR ½ c sour cream and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese then top with the mixture of: 1¼ C. crushed Ritz® crackers 1 stick melted butter 1 C. slivered almonds (opt) Bake 30 min. @ 350-375º until golden brown. Doubles very well! Enjoy |
