For Easter dessert I was searching for a homemade chocolate/hot fudge sauce to serve with profiteroles. I found this on recipezaar.com and it was awesome! I just saw that Jewel is selling Dean's ice cream for buy 1 get 2 free, so stock up and pour some of this stuff on!

Chocolate Fudge Sauce
8 servings

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup heavy or whipping cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla

In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa, and cream and stir until smooth.

Add chips and butter.

Cook and stir on low heat until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.

Refrigerate any leftovers and just reheat in the microwave!

OMG woman you're killing me! While we're on the subject, how about Bananas Foster! I have not made it for a while, so the recipe might be a bit off. But it will turn out fine.

2-3 bananas cut up into slices
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/8 c. orange juice (or juice from the pineapple)
1/3 c. brandy
AND vanilla ice cream

Scoop out a pineapple and set aside the fruit part, creating a pineapple bowl.
Melt the butter and cook the bananas in the pan until semi-carmelized. You'll know what this looks like when you see it. Add in the remaining ingredients except the brandy.

When you are almost ready to serve it, pour the brandy over the top. You can "flame" it using a lighter, but be careful!

Scoop some vanilla ice cream into the pineapple boat. Pour the luscious banana mixture over the top. Calories: 8,000 but worth it.

I made this for my husband when we were dating. I served it at the table, and flamed it like a Greek restaurant. Hope he doesn't read this because he'll want me to serve it again.
