I had this drink recently when out and about, but have been unable to find the right recipe online. Anyone have suggestions - it was quite good - very good, actually! Smile

You booze pig....this is a family-values site. Could we possibly replace Vanilla Vodka with Vanilla Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream? If not, keep your addictions to yourself.

Why do I have images in my head of you spending afternoons in your kitchen trying to find the right mix of vodka and Orange Julius...meanwhile, your children go hungry night after night due to your inability to make the evening meal. Poor kids.

LMAO-It's pretty funny, cause you're nothing like that. Right?

It does sound good and I'm going to need a new favorite drink until this stupid buzz about the Sex & The City movie dies down.

If we get the exact recipe figured out, pass it on, I'll have it available at the BB party.

I called the bar and here is what the bartender said:

Muddle real oranges and a tsp. of sugar,

add a little egg white,

cream (it's mostly this)

add Stoly Vanilla Vodka.

shake, then strain and pour over fresh ice.

This is really far too complicated for me - I think I'll have to try the Rachel Ray version - terrorist scarf or not - hers looks easier!

I did learn a new word - muddle!! Smile

This is also what you do to mint leaves for a Mint Julep or a Mojito. Yum!

Oh, and buy the cheapest vanilla ice cream you can <ahem, Aldi>...I had some good stuff and it wasn't as good as with all that Polysorbate 80!
