Has anyone ever had a kid attend one of these dipshit's camps?

I have wanted to send my itty-bitty guy to the camp at GW in July. Their website doesn't mention a cost making it very difficult to pay for the camp. I have phoned them 6-8 times...each time reaching their answering service...and left messages with no return call. Two e-mails have yielded a big zip, also. The answering service insists that that are paying their bills, yet their local 847 phone number has been disconnected.

Anyone signed up for this?

Why not just sign up for the camp Glenbard West runs itself? My kids have enjoyed them throught they years. I believe this year you have to sign up through the Park District, but I know that they'll be run just as they always have.

Clam - the North Shore camp (7/21-7/25) is scheduled for Churchill School and costs $215 (since it's after May 16). That is according to the Spring/Summer GEPD book.

The West camp is not the same. There's one on a sheet I have for 4th-6th graders costing $70. That runs 6/9 - 6/20 M-Th.
You'll have to sign up for either through the Park District.

It is a big mess this year - if you need to sign a waiver for a class, you can't register online - at least that's what I was told today.

That's odd...I signed up for several GW camps via the GEPD and no problemo! I believe I had to "sign off" on a waiver by clicking a box....I might be remembering incorrectly becuase I've been doing a lot of "signing up" lately.

The park district has them doing another camp at a different time and location. And no cost on the GEPARK website, either.

I guess the fact that it says "7/9-7/13/07" is a pretty solid indication that this is not information for this year. Nice program...website nice and up-to-date. Doesn't seem to matter....Lacrosse America, NSBC, ISKC...you name it...sports people just don't appear to be business people. Idiots.
