We'll be out front. If I get back in time from lacrosse...I may make wieners on the grill.

I've had two requests for parking spots in the drive. Room for one more if you can't find street parking.

Hopefully they are tofu or turkey wieners.

The best by far are the Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dogs. Really good...and NTRI compatible.

Available at Trader Joe's...

NutriSystem...the most god-awful diet food on the planet (except for maybe HerbaLife shakes Smile ).

When you get completely sick of that food and start rummaging in the pantry, as I did, go to Jenny Craig. Been on it about 1.5 years, lost 40lbs, and have kept it off for over a year.

I've been maintaining 5lbs under my goal. I still go to my counselor every week and still buy food for breakfast and lunch (occasional dinners). Since reaching/going below goal, I eat and drink whatever I want on weekends and on Monday morning, I'm back on. With the rewards program (you increasingly get a percentage off of your food with the amount of visits you make to your counselor...by the time you hit goal, it's 35% off) I found that I was paying less for my weekly food than when I was a fat pig.

I feel a bit like I should treat my overeating like alcoholism...my Jenny Craig meetings once a week are like AA...keeps me honest. Smile

Tofu can mask itself as many a meat product. If I am not mistaken...they have tofu dogs at TJ's.

GERing,

I've always wondered what the cost is for those type of diet programs. Care to divulge what your average weekly food cost is for breakfast and lunch?

How about you Mr. Potts?

Do the words deck chair and Titanic mean anything to you?

I'm spending anywhere from about $25-35 per week for breakfast, lunch, some dinners and snacks. Some entrees and snacks cost more than others, so that can make a difference from week to week (i.e. a piece of cookies and cream cheesecake costs more than a bag of sourdough bites). The best part is that I can do what I want on weekends...so I don't feel like I'm on a diet*

*Disclaimer - I only started eating what I wanted on weekends AFTER I reached my weight loss goal.

I spend 300 a month (actually, they give you a free week so it's 35 days worth of food). I do a Nutrisystem hybrid however. I eat the breakfast, the morning snack, the afternoon snack, dinner and dessert...however, I forego lunch and go and get a sensible lunch. I further allow myself sensible homemade dinners on the weekends. So far, its been pretty good.

Oh, and I have not given up alcohol but switched totally off of beer.

I'm not a conformist....

Trader Joe's even sells the very appetizing Tofurkey! Doesn't that sound like a Thanksgiving feast for a king?

Good things come to those who wait....

The field goal attempt.....argh.

GBW should be proud however; they dominated that game.
