Are we correct in writing that the Glenbard West Hitters, as expected, could clinch a 2011 West Suburban Silver Conference Championship with a win over the York Dukes at home on Saturday?

Somewhat less predicted - but just as exciting - is Glenbard South's run at an inaugural conference championship as described in a coach's note below:

"This Friday, Raider Football will be playing at Ridgewood High School for the 2011 Metro Suburban Conference championship. We are putting an "all call" out and asking everyone in the Glenbard South community to fill the stands at Ridgewood in support by wearing all white for a "white out." Please pass this message on to anyone who may be interested in attending.

Please come and support the Raider Football program as this is a historic night in Raider football history!"
