Naperville North picks Drendel to lead football program

I was at the game when Naperville North scored the first touchdown in the school's history. It was late in their SECOND season, at the end of a very lopsided game with Glenbard South. With the game still in progress and the outcome not in question, the few NN fans stormed the field and tried, in vain, to tear down the goal posts.

And the meek shall inherit the earth.
