Heads up - this weekend West, South, and East are are all producing their fall plays.
West's is How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, South is producing My Fair Lady, and East Hamlet.
In my experience, the kids generally do a really good job presenting shows with some outstanding performances and pretty impressive production values.
I believe all shows are running Thurs thru Sat, with possible Sat afternoon matinees.
If you have never attended a HS play, you might want to treat yourself. Tickets are generally a pretty nominal price, and there are far worse ways to spend a couple of hours on a November evening.

Got our tickets for Hamlet on Saturday...always enjoyed the high school theatre productions...One of my favorites was back in the day when West put on Bye Bye Birdie with Gordon Boos as the star.

gordon was fantastic in that play. growing up across the street from each other, we were best friends. we stayed very close until his untimely end. i miss him terribly.

He must have been a great guy, TA. Too bad his name doesn't get mentioned as much in regard to famous GBW graduates....it seems he should be in that group. BTW, one of my daughter's friends is the famale lead in the play at West. She has an AMAZING voice so I encourage you all to go...and she's only a freshman!

Quite a show!
Kudos to the many many kids (and adults) who contributed in so many ways to making this production a success.

We went tonight. It was great - what a talented bunch of young people. One more night tomorrow and, I think, a matinee Sunday if you haven't been yet.

re: how to succeed: the freshman who plays rosemary is OUTSTANDING...and so is mitch conti! this is a difficult play (ALOT of dialouge...won the pulizer prize in the early 60's) and the kids did a great job! go see it tonight if you can!

This was the best musical I have seen at West in a long time. Perfect casting all the way around. Both leads were wonderful!
