I saw a great rythm and blues band last weekend in St. Charles. Blind Eye Willy. It's a new band with experienced musicians in their 40's. Very cool.

It is a huge annual "block" party in far west St. Charles.
I told the band they should try to get a spot this weekend at the Glen Ellyn Arts Festival at Lake Ellyn and they were very interested. They need to hook up with the talent team at the Lions Club. I don't know if there's enough time but I am hoping they will play outdoors again around here soon. I want to bring my kids! It's hard to take your kids to see live grown up music once summer ends. Clubs usually frown upon 7 and 9 yr old patrons ;-) |
