Here's a big surprise.
How this guy has made a living north of 143rd Street is amazing. "A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices." William James |

A caller to his show on Thursday chastised him for always bringing up his salary and all the stuff he was going to buy, going on to say that he was out of touch with his average listener. Guess he won't be doing that anymore.
I like Danny Mac, but rarely listened because I prefer Boers & Bernstein and can't stand that kiss a**, name dropping Harry. I'm hoping the Score drops the "Tool of the Decade" Murph and plugs in Danny Mac. "Everyone thinks their opinion matters. Don't argue with a nobody. I think the guy is smart, witty and pretty entertaining. A little hung up on himself, but who isn't. He was so much better on ESPN than he ever was on the SCORE.
Yoss...tell me you are kidding. Boers? The guy isn't smart, isn't funny, is ugly, and can't put a complete sentence together. Other than that he has a lot going for him. Without question the absolute worst person ever on the radio in any format. A complete juvenile idiot. But I don't really have a strong opinion either way. What part of "no" don't you understand? |

HUGE mistake by AM 1000!
He was the driver in that drive time engine. I'm not a fan of his replacement and the other two guys aren't nearly as good when Danny Mac was not with them. This was the only really good team the station had. Now what? I don't like much on 670, so bring back Dan Patrick. |

Isn't Patrick already on the Score on overnights? I suppose they'd have to bounce Bernstein and Boers for that to happen. I think the Mully and Hanley show is doing well enough that they wouldn't want to mess with that.
Though, I was listening to the Podcasts of the new Patrick show. Without the A-list sports writers of ESPN feeding him lines, it's not nearly as clever, funny, smart, etc. as his show was on ESPN. Might have just been "growing pains" because I haven't listened in about 6 mos. Plus, Olberman isn't doing his daily hour any longer. |

Westwood One had the brilliant idea of hiring Dennis Green(e) to do color for the Steelers/Ravens game. Talk about a voice not meant for broadcasting...that's one of them. He sounds quite a bit like Fred Sanford on helium...or speed. One of the two.

I know, I know. The thing I love most about Boers is that he hates Murph and never misses an opportunity to take a shot at that moron. I think Danny Mac will end up at the Score, I just hope it's displacing Murph or stuttering Dan Hampton. Hamp-Loved as a player, but just brutal on the radio. "Everyone thinks their opinion matters. Don't argue with a nobody. A farmer doesn't bother telling a pig his breath smells like s***." |

Honestly, are there any sports radio personalities that are any damn good?
The only show that I actually "like" is Mully & Hanley. And that's probably because they haven't been around long enough to get full of themselves and get schtick-y. |

I really like M&H, such an upgrade from the previous morning Bozo.
