Just wanted to let people know that this Saturday, the 19th, is the inaugural Glen Ellyn BookFest, sponsored by The Bookstore. Lots of authors, signings, talks, etc. - including one with myself and Kelly O'Conner McNees; we'll be discussing our novels, both of which deal with literary icons, at the library at 1:30 and signing books after. (My novel - ALICE I HAVE BEEN, is the story of Alice Liddell; Kelly's recently published novel is called THE LOST SUMMER OF LOUISA MAY ALCOTT.)

Anyway, check out the BookFest's website - Elizabeth Berg is giving the keynote address - and hope to see some of you there!

I have been getting the e-mails about this and was seriously hoping to go! I know my daughters would've loved it, too....unfortunately, my weekend was booked before I found out about it and nothing fell through
