I may just be spreading info that everybody already knows, BUT according to the casting companies hotline number, they will be starting up as early as 6 am on Wednesday filming.
What I think is pretty pitiful is that I had to go to the Glenbard West Band website to find any of this out. I would have thought that this would have been spread around a litle more. Then again I do live South of Roosevelt, so we probably don't really count, Right?

Downtown locked down at 5am. Police Dept. out and about. Lee should do a good Hot Dog business today, the trailers are in the lot right across from Youngs. Witless sign hanging on the pole at the Commuter Parking lot west of the Library. That is all. Everybody have a nice day.
Waiting. There was lots of waiting. Hours of waiting. There were also about 30 trains that caused even more waiting.
Tell me when I need to get up, will ya?
Rehersal #2, of many rehersals. Larry's "car" is the primer-brown turd thing in the bottom right of this shot. Larry is driving and I think Jenny is in the passenger seat.
There was a cast of hundreds. Certain extras got to play a little larger role. .
And beauty queens!
A long shot of the set; corner of Crescent and Main.
This is one of the many set directors who was working the crowd and cueing them on when to do what. He was also the guy who warned me not to take or publish any pictures of the lead actors. I understood, and kept my promise. So sorry, no pictures of Larry to be seen here. Or of Jenny.

If one is asked not to show certain photos, one should abide by that. I was and I am.
Hatboy ruled the roost. There is an official set photographer, and he can take shots of the main actors and do whatever with them because he is in their employ. I cannot. It is their copywritten project.
That said...

The general rule in the United States is that anyone may take photographs of whatever they want when they are in a public place or places where they have permission to take photographs. Absent a specific legal prohibition such as a statute or ordinance, you are legally entitled to take photographs. Examples of places that are traditionally considered public are streets, sidewalks, and public parks.
This will sound strange...but I cannot remember a time that I ever found a female stand-up comedian to be funny. That includes Elaine Boosler. Men don't seem all that funny these days, either. Very, very little originality in comedy any more. It's all been done before...IMO, of course. I prefer people whose comedy is on-the-fly, reactionary...not rehearsed. And no, not those fake improv shows like Drew Carrey hosts.
Though I understand that my preferences would not fill comedy clubs. I also understand that I am getting further and further from the mainstream the older I get. And I also understand that I have never seen an episode of The Soprano's. So...perhaps I am not the one to look to when it comes to modern-day culture.
If fact...ignore everything I wrote. Disregard it all.

I don't think so. But when I've seen her on the roasts and doing stand-up, she's pretty tarted up. Kind of looks like a man in drag. And she'd probably take that as a compliment.
So THAT's what held up my commute this morning. I was wondering why I didn't know about the parade. In terms of funny comedians (or comediannes) I'm a Sarah Silverman fan. She's dirty & I like it.
