I'm afraid so. I suppose I could Google him. I take it he is a comedian.

Funny....or no?

Anyway...appears to be coming to GE.

Just looked him up. After 30 seconds of reading his site, I realized why I moved back from the South.

Boy, golly. Them people just ain't funny. Funniest guy I knew in Atlanta was from Virginia.

Anyway...apparently he is coming to GE. Can't wait.

Does this guy have a show that I somehow missed?

Then I ran across this line... "While the company is still casting for the picture, Jenny McCarthy is tentatively slated to star in it as well, he said."

OK, it is getting better.

So this begs the next question... are they going to fill the empty storefronts with fake businesses? They usually do this for movies. And... can we keep those fake new storefronts until those spaces are rented?

And the top question... Is the Hot Dog Man going to be set up in time to be in this movie? That alone could save the town.

Yes. He actually is quite funny. He was the voice of Tow Mater in the animated movie 'Cars'.

Do you like how Clam pretends he's not familiar with the guy? Clam knows everyone. You know he secretly has each and every one of his comedy albums and eagerly anticipates his comedy specials. He's only the biggest comedian to come along since Gallagher. GIT 'ER DONE!

P.S. I wonder if they've considered the ramifications of filming during the cicada infestation.

Admittedly, I do not watch a lot of TV these days...for various reasons...most of them revolving around my kids. I do like Law & Order...so I have been biting my nails lately in fear that it would be sacked. But when I kept hearing about the cable guy this and the cable guy that, I always assumed they meant the Jim Carey character from a few years back. Now that it has been brought to my attention that he is a Jeff Foxworthy-like character...I'm glad my children are around to distract me. I just really hate dumbed-down comedy. Don't know why. Always have. I was never into bathroom humor as a child. I just figured kids could be much more clever. My oldest kid is funny as hell...the youngest still gets a kick out of punching me in the crotch.

FWIW, that movie..."Cars"...a movie my kids dragged me to...was the worst children's film I have seen in quite some time. The idea of anthropomorphizing automobiles just didn't work for me. Cars just shouldn't talk...or have faces. And I really like cars. Yes, I understand it was a kid's movie...but it sucked. Made even worse by the tow truck.

Biggest comedian since Gallagher!! LO-freakin'-L!!!

He actually works with Jeff Foxworthy. I remember being at one of me mates houses and he forced me to sit through this Blue Collar Comedy show. Insisted that I would think it was hilarious. Anyway...now I know who Larry the Cable Guy is. I can't wait to see him in town.

BTW, Jenny McCarthy...she is really not funny. She was awesome in Playboy, though. I'd like to see her get back to her roots.

I think the success of the parade scene requires Model Ts. And I know just the guy to get them for the production company. All he needs is the car washed and waxed and the brass polished. But he's no diva. He will volunteer to share a trailer with Ms. McCarthy.

You'll all be happy to know that three people in my office find me to be an idiot for not knowing who he is...and have sent me clips of his work.

This is interesting...if one eliminates all things(animals, plants, furniture, cars, etc.) except humans from talking in kids' entertainment, even classics like the Flinstones are ruled out. Are you a "Saved by the Bell" kinda guy?

Your coworkers need to be more forgiving of your challenged sense of humor...you are French after all. I know Jerry is like a God to your people.

I saw part of a broadcast of a Larry the Cable Guy show and the only joke I remember was: I remember that time I accidentally saw my parents having sex - I'll never go to that website again!

Gross - but funny. Come on - there are so few demographic groups that have a sense of humor about themselves anymore, we should support those that do.

GIT-R-Done, indeed. I've never trusted a comedian with a tagline. Seems like he's ripe for being picked on by The Simpsons.

By all means, support those that make fun of themselves. But if you're going to do that, keep in mind that you'll have to watch Carlos Mencia....the single least funny chap on the planet. And a legendary material stealer, to boot.

Enjoy

From Wikipedia:

"Whitney started a career in radio as a disc-jockey in Blue Springs, Missouri. He moved to Omaha, where he was a personality on the short lived alternative station 101.9 The Edge KGDE. This followed by stints at Rock 100 WDIZ and 101.1 WJRR in Orlando before meeting the Blue Collar Boys. He became known in the South in the early 90s when he made regular radio appearances via phone on programs such as the Ron and Ron Show. He was also a regular via phone during the late 90s on Z-92's The Todd and Tyler Show in Omaha, Nebraska, on the nationally syndicated Chris Baker Show Friday mornings, as well as the Kirk, Mark, and Lopez morning show on 98 Rock in Baltimore, MD. Larry's trademarks are Redneck-style humor delivered in an affected thick Southern dialect, recounting bizarre stories about his "family," and using the phrase "Git-R-Done!" He is also known for other commonly used expressions. He was also a frequent guest on the Johnny Dare and Murphy show on 989, KQRC, Kansas City.

He also sings Christmas songs like "Donny the Retard," "Titty Bars Christmas," and "I Pissed My Pants". He uses "Madder than" analogies like "Madder than a skinhead watching The Jeffersons," "Madder than a carload of queers getting pulled over for doin' a 69 in a 55," "Madder than a one-legged waitress at the IHOP," and possibly his most famous, "Happier than a tornado in a trailer park," from his character in the film Cars or "Happier than Jim Nabors with a wheelbarrow full of buttholes.""

Funny stuff, indeed. I hope Vicky Hase has saved a key or two to the village for when he arrives.

Well, yuck. You have obviously researched this far more than I have. And I don't like Mencia, either. Can he be deported?
