I decided to Google him before responding. I wish the Village pooh-bahs would have. I looked at his web site. He references his movie and says Joe Montegna will be in it. He closes with this: The preceding script was for entertainment purposes only. If you're uptight, humorless, and PC in any way, please exit the site! Don't read this and then b**** and moan later about it. I can't stress enough, life's too short so get over yourself. Now...me and my fans cordially invite you to pucker up and kiss our collective a****! (asterisks mine) Look out Glen Ellyn - here he comes.
Do they not have the internet at the Civic Center? I refuse to spend any more time on this character since I believe I have now read enough to make an informed choice. Disregard my post yesterday - Thanks!
Maybe we can get new banners for the business district "GIT-R-DONE in Glen Ellyn" - any other ideas? For the record, I didn't like "Hee-Haw", but I did really enjoy "Green Acres". That Arnold the pig, what a hoot.
Ruydah sent me these clips of Larry the Cable Guy, AKA Dan "not a hint of an accent" Whitney, in his early days as a "stand up comic". His stuff is killer....wait....killer?....no, not killer. He sucks...really badly. And he has funny hair and goofy clothes.
The young 'uns heard he was comin' to town and ast if they could watch the filming. I asked "Why?" and they replied, "Because he's an idiot." Did we not have a village idiot already? Anyone know the storyline of the movie?

Ask Clam, I'm sure he already has an invite to the cast wrap party.

Clam, I am probably nowhere near as old as you and I remember Hee Haw, Buck Owens and Roy Clark too. My old man used to watch it as well. Back then we had one TV and it was black and white, life was simple. My fondest memory of Hee Haw was all the babes they had. I am shocked to hear you hated it.

Apparently he changed some things and figured out what works and what doesn't. He was profiled on 60 minutes last december.
Glenbard West Marching Band is going to be in the scene shot next week; younger son came home from the Memorial Day ceremony all excited because he gets to be in a movie. Even if he does hate Larry the Cable Guy.
There is a parade scene I hear. This is my guess on what it might look like on Main Street on June 6th. Just replace Matthew with Clam. You get the drift.
