I am assured by the village that the road replacement will be done next summer. In case it is not done by TOGEP's date, I am in negotiations with GWHS to use their parking lot.

Herm's Daughter, there will be a 50 lap crit around Lake Ellyn on the Saturday morning of the TOGEP. Will see you there.

Does your change in avatars mean that you have scored a position?

Yes it does! I am no longer suckling at the teat of the taxpayers...I am gainfully employed once again...

Thank you! I am working at a company that makes commercial fitness equipment. It is not on the train line, so I have to drive again. Someone else will have to carry the torch of getting the GE Police to remove those 2 abandoned bikes that have been there for 2 years now...

Dan... you don't understand "the system." Government doesn't exist at any level to do as much as they can do, but rather as little as they can get away with.

The Village government doesn't give a damn about the downtown business district. In the case of the old rusted bicycles, the Village hopes the Union Pacific will clean it up. The UP hopes Metra will clean it up. Metra hopes the Village will clean it up. Nobody's going to clean it up.

You want those bikes out of there? Grab your hacksaw and go do it yourself. Nobody else will... no one in a position of "responsibility" will care... and not one "official" will stop you.

Sounds like Life Fitness to me, I was looking at one of their Sales/Project Manager positions. Let me know how you like it there.

Yes indeed. I just bought two more DVD-A discs for the TL, Led Zeppelin "How the West Was Won" and Steely Dan's latest. That 5.1 DVD Audio is a great audio system.

BTW-What color combo did you get?

Steely Dan's latest..."Everything Must Go" from a few years back, or Donald Fagen's latest..."Morph The Cat"?

Everything Must Go. It's OK, some of the songs sound a lot a like. Sound quality/production is (as always with SD) fantastic. I'd love to have "Aja" on DVD-A, but I have seen it on the DVD-A sites.

Yoss, I got the Ebony Interior and Alabaster Silver Metallic Exterior. I bought the car on a sunny day and it caught my eye.

That was my second choice behind Anthracite/Ebony. I replaced the rear sway bar (17mm) with a Comptech (25mm), it's made a big difference in handling and mitigated some of the torque steer when cornering. Sway was $95 bar plus $180 for installation.

I ain't no mechanic, but I always thought that torque steer was all about acceleration in front-wheel drive cars...when you step on it and the car tends to jumps to the left or right.
