I loved Elf. It makes me weep to hear your review, Mrs. Arten. I thought we were so compatible.

I think it's a Will Ferrell thing. Loved him on SNL. Didn't like Anchorman either.

Anchorman was a train wreck. But I loved Elf.

Kudos to the person a few posts back who mentioned this line: "Buddy the Elf. What's your favorite color." To me, that was the laugh-out-loud line of the movie.

It's a Wonderful Life? When I really started to pay attention, I came to appreciate its deep message, much in the way I have come to appreciate the Wizard of Oz. Oz isn't necessarily a children's movie.

Oops, it isn't a Christmas movie, either. Lions and Tigers and Reindeer? Oh no.

Ok, gotta chime in here.

I like Elf - it's cute. (BTW, I actually liked Anchorman, it's just so over-the-top silly and ridiculous but you do have to be in the right frame of mind.)

I LOVE It's a Wonderful Life (I'd still consider sleeping with Jimmy Stewart, if he were alive, that is).

I LOVE Rudolph, the Charlie Brown Christmas, Santa Claus is coming to Town (Nice Avatar Yossarian)

I really enjoy the Santa Clause and Santa Clause 2 movies as well.

After those, I could take or leave the rest of'em...though The Christmas Story is sometimes just what the Doctor ordered.

I'll have to get in the right frame of mind and give Anchorman another chance.

And I bet somewhere Jimmy Stewart is smiling.

Loved Elf....Cry at It's a Wonderful Life every year (fyi...my mom HATES it!)...The season is not complete without A Charlie Brown Christmas...or the original Grinch who stole Christmas cartoon...All the claymation Christmas cartoons of my youth are great...and sadly, I totally love crazy hallmark feel good Christmas made for tv movies....

Charlie Brown: Rats. Nobody sent me a Christmas card today. I almost wish there weren't a holiday season. I know nobody likes me. Why do we have to have a holiday season to emphasize it?

You missed out. We laughted our butts off.

For a dark christmas classic, The Ref still ranks up there in my book of some of the best.

And of course Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, even tho it's Thanksgiving.

Will post more later.. gotta go right now. Shitters' full.

And for the record, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this group for not at least mentioning Hard-rock, Coco, and Joe by now!!!!! Not a movie, but how could we forget this classic????

(In Larry King voice)

For my money, Elf may be the finest Christmas movie. Ever.

You want a good holiday movie-National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Cousin Eddie is classic.

That movie was aight, my mom enjoyed it, it was good to see the kid from Malcolm in something else. If u wanna see a bad movie, see Christmas in Connecticut although I never saw it.

The kid from Malcolm was one of the very few bright spots.
