If Clam doesn't slay him, I will.

It works both ways. The car owners didn't want to come back to G.E. No bathrooms, no carry out except for Mama Sue's, mean looks from store owners. We never felt welcome. Our car club helped with parking, litter cleanup after the events, basic rules enforcing, etc. & saw less cars show up each week. See you in Wheaton ('31 model A, '51 panel truck, '51 kustom)!

What do you mean it works both ways? We were supporting you and dissing the retailers. We love you and your cars. And you could have peed at my house. A convenient 3 or 4 blocks away. People in Wheaton hate my car as it was the beginning of the modern day sports sedan and helped bring about the end of the 60's and 70's muscle cars ('71 BMW 2002).

Maybe GE could specialize in English sports cars and continentals? Everybody does Detroit, it’s never a bad thing to do something different.

I should admit though, I am a biased owner of both old English and German metal. ( I did buy a new '01 Jeep Cherokee once, but at 13 mpg and less interior space then my manwagon it was near useless.)

And I want to know what happened to the milk "jugs"

What I meant was downtown didn't seem to want us there, and the car owners didn't want to be there. Except for locals and our club, there wasn't much repeat attendance when it moved to Main St.

I think I took off the dancing milk jug when I was trying to say something serious, the juxtaposition with the text was somewhat awkward.
The climbing .., well that's not coming back any time soon, I'm still trying to defend my office 'puter desktop to my wife, it was all the talk between her and friends for a week or so.

I'm thinking "Ricer" night, where local yoots can come with their customized Civics and Eclipes and hang out. This would also solve "AJ is weird"s problem of what to do in GE. Yeah, the Fast and Furious in GE, cool!

Me, I think it's the finest, most intelligent, beautiful, strong, fun, manwagon around. But then that's why I married it. It's my first, hopefully 2 and 3 will be as good when this one gets old and I need something new to bop around in.
